How do you play Wake Riot?

Cross the finish first. Waves, logs, rocks, whirlpools and boat collisions can interrupt your line, while ramps and wake surfing recharge your boost.

  1. Choose a boat colour and a speedboat or duck-captain look. Both have identical handling.
  2. Start a Palm Lagoon sprint to learn steering, braking and boost. Race Riot Rapids for bigger waves.
  3. Collect yellow duck crates, press E to drop a trap, and return to the lobby for a rematch.

Make it a good team break.

Start with a 1.6 km Palm Lagoon sprint. Up to eight people can race, and bots can fill empty seats. Phones auto-accelerate and provide touch steering, brake, boost and duck controls.

Before you choose: This is an arcade boat race with wave buoyancy, momentum and collisions. After the first finish, the rest of the field has 22 seconds to finish; unfinished boats receive DNF. The online race continues when one player opens their menu.
