from classic to theme

Pick a base game, apply a prompt, play the remix

step 01

Pick a base game

Start from a familiar arcade mechanic. Flappy Core is live today; more base games appear in the same picker as they ship.

step 02

Choose a remix prompt

Apply a pre-defined theme — ocean coral reefs, neon laser gates, classic sky pipes, crystal caverns — without writing a free-form prompt yet.

step 03

Play in the browser

Space, click, or tap to flap. The remixed player, hazards, and background run immediately in the live viewport.

step 04

Export the remix recipe

Download a versioned JSON recipe with base game, theme, prompt, seed, and feel controls so the same remix can be rebuilt later.

One Flappy core, many themed worlds

These captures come from the live Game Remix workspace and are cropped to the product chrome. Ocean Depths leads the hero; Neon Circuit and Classic Sky show how far a prompt can push the same mechanic.

Neon Circuit: same Flappy DNA, different skin

A second real workspace capture — drone avatar, gated hazards, and cyber palette with gravity, flap, and gap controls still live.

Classic Sky: the familiar baseline

The classic sky-runner look sits beside the same base-game / remix-prompt hierarchy, so themed variants stay comparable.

built to scale past one game

Base games first, themes second

The left rail keeps mechanics and skins separate: choose Flappy Core (or a future base game), then browse remix prompts that belong only to that game. When the next base game goes live, it gets its own theme list — not a flat pile of unrelated skins.

  • Live Flappy Core with six pre-defined theme prompts
  • Feel sliders for gravity, flap, speed, gap, and spacing
  • Exportable remix recipes for sharing and rebuilds

Questions, answered

What is bunpav Game Remix?

Game Remix is a free browser tool that takes a classic arcade base game and applies a pre-defined theme prompt — for example ocean coral reefs on Flappy-style flight — then lets you play the remixed game immediately.

Is Game Remix the same as Game Lab?

No. Game Lab is a separate playable-beta workspace for seeded top-down procedural kits. Game Remix is its own free product focused on themed classic-game remixes, starting with Flappy Core.

Can I type any prompt I want?

Not yet. Remix prompts are pre-defined theme packs (ocean, neon, classic sky, cavern, dusk, and more). Free-form prompt generation is a natural next step, but the current build ships curated themes that play reliably.

Which base games are available?

Flappy Core is live with multiple theme prompts. Additional base games such as Dash Runner appear in the picker as soon entries until their runtimes ship.

Is Game Remix free?

Yes. Signed-in bunpav users can open Game Remix without spending AI generation credits. The workspace may show your account balance for consistency with other tools, but remixing and exporting recipes does not charge credits.

What do I export?

A versioned JSON remix recipe containing the base game id, theme id, prompt text, seed, and feel configuration. It is not a packaged Unity, Unreal, or Godot project.
